How to Apply

Please read the information below as well as our Frequently Asked Questions prior to applying for a place on our GERRIC student programs.

Helpful Hints

  • Keep a copy of your online application for your own records (this will be emailed to you upon applying).

  • You are only required to supply supporting selection criteria documentation (e.g. test results) if applying for a scholarship, advanced placement, or if requested by GERRIC.

  • A new program application and payment is required for each student program that is offered in the year (i.e. January and July)

  • We will ONLY accept online applications for the January student program.

  • Applications are ONLY reviewed after the closing date once all applications have been processed?. You will learn the outcome of your application approximately 5-10 business days after the application closing date.

  • Workshops will only run if sufficient numbers of enrolments are received.

  • We will endeavor to place students in their preferred workshops as indicated on the application form received, but cannot guarantee this. Placement offers will depend on availability and suitability.

How to Apply?

  • Once applications open you will be able to enrol online.

  • Complete your personal details and select the workshops. Select workshops from the dropdown menu, in order of preference and ONLY those the student is prepared to attend. While we try to place students in the workshop of their first choice, they may be placed in any other workshop they have nominated so please choose carefully. We do not refund workshop fees due to a change of mind.

  • Please ensure you detail any special requirements, and email Anaphylaxis or Asthma management plans with a colour photo, the student’s name and the workshop they will be attending to, if applicable. Attendance without such a plan is not permitted.

  • Parent/guardians MUST agree to the Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy. GERRIC assumes that you have read, understood and will adhere to our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy – so please read it carefully.

  • If you are applying for a scholarship based on financial hardship, please see our Scholarships page and submit the additional application and supporting documents in an email to Please note that scholarship applications will only be accepted by email.
  • When you are satisfied that all the information is complete, please submit application online prior to the closing date.

  • Should your child be successful in gaining a place in the program you will be emailed course information and payment instructions (approximately 5 business days after the closing date).

Your place in the program is not guaranteed until payment is received.
