GERRIC Student Programs Equity Applications

Do you not qualify for the scholarship eligibility financially, but still have equity needs that should be taken into consideration? Submit an equity application for early placement consideration.

2. Attach evidence of equity needs. Examples of sufficient evidence are provided below, however this is not an exhaustive list of proof.

Twice Exceptional (gifted with a disability) – psychologist/teacher report

Rural/Remote – recent bill with address and parent name clearly indicated (not sure if you qualify? Check this map, any zone other than "Major Cities of Australia-RA1" is eligible) 

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander – statement from parent/guardian/community member

Non-English-Speaking Background – signed statement from school teacher, enrolment into EALD class, signed statement from parent

Financial Hardship - centrelink statement (note: any unsuccessful scholarship applicants will be considered for equity advanced placement)

3. Send the form to before the 9th June, 11pm. Use the subject line “Equity Application – January Student Programs” and ensure all supporting documents are attached.


Students will be notified of success prior to June 12th (regular registrations open).

Please note that, if successful, parents of students with equity consideration will be given until June 19 to register and pay for their child’s place in the workshop. After this date, the place will be surrendered.
