Joint Action Research Project: Developing effective collaboration between EAL/D and classroom teachers.

ATESOL NSW is pleased to announce the initiation of an action research project, designed to develop processes and strategies for effective collaboration between EAL/D and Mainstream teachers.

This project will be held as a collaborative project between ATESOL NSW, UNSW and participants’ schools. Completion of this action research will contribute to QTC Registered Professional Development, addressing Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

Formal applications for participation in the project will commence in February 2017; interested teachers are invited to submit their name, school and area of research interest to: atesol.nsw@unsw.edu.au

Venue: Initial Professional Learning to be held at the School of Education, UNSW, including presentation by Chris Davison, Professor of Education, UNSW. Individual research projects to be conducted within participants’ schools. Final presentations to be held at UNSW.
